Treasure Island Music Festival 2011

Monica dances in front of Bliss by Marco Cochrane

StiltDancers Monica and Matt brought our Capitano and Pirate wench to life at the opening day of the 5th Annual Treasure Island Music Festival 2011 to the delight of festival goers! Adding to the spectacular setting was Marco Cochrane’s sculpture ‘Bliss’ this year, making this beautifully located festival produced by Noise POP and Another Planet Entertainment over the top in terms of art.

Here’s a shot from SF Gate as well!

TOTEM Promo for CdS at Yerba Buena Night, SF

Templeton Variety was on hand for the first Yerba Buena Night, dedicated to arts and community. It was amazing, there were high caliber musicians scattered around Yerba Buena and the nearby areas (there was a video installation on Minna next to SFMOMA, and a band outside the Forum’s loading dock). Texas and I entertained the often confused crowd, wondering “what is this for?” and getting back the answer, “You!”

Oh yeah, and Cirque du Soleil’s TOTEM opens near AT&T Park October 28th, 2011 and runs into December.

2010 Vancouver Olympics

This gallery contains 5 photos.

We braved the Castle of Kryptonite to perform cultural Olympiad events for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. The city was abuzz with activity, the most lively I have ever seen Vancouver BC. Events included Live Sites in Yaletown and Surrey with … Continue reading

Cypress Hill at the Fillmore, SF

Velvet Hammer produced a pair of shows for one of San Francisco’s favorite holidays- April 20th… Dr. Greenthumb joins the stage at 6:30. Horrible audience video is all I can find from this show… I guess the audience was, um, distracted.

Toot’s Tavern Sideshow and Cabaret

On April 25th, The Barbary Coast Burlesque, Mike Templeton and Hernan Cortez played a standing room only crowd at Toot’s Tavern, in historic Crockett, CA. This watering hole has been pouring since 1901, and was last heard from in 2004 when the bronze statue “Resting Hermes”, previously stolen from the University Club on Nob Hill turned up in the very spot we performed.

Pro Bowl 2009 video

My .0015 second of fame!

Here’s the best footage I’ve found yet from fans:

I’m in the first 10 seconds, realizing I have been transported to Mexico City during rush hour as the waves of spent propane and pyro clouds roll past. It suddenly went from Disney on Ice to SRL.
45 seconds later, I’m so high on fumes and adrenaline, that I almost run into Ciara’s bodyguard as I run off the field.

Oregon Country Fair 2006

Morningwood Odditorium is run by the Fremont Players, who present traditional Brittish pathos plays for audiences of all ages. When I stopped by the stage to say hi, I suddenly had 3 shows over the weekend!

Here’s a couple of video clips from Monica’s camera…
