Wow, was that ever an amazing event!

GoldenGate Software contacted Templeton Variety to provide entertainment for their corporate event held at the St. Francis Hotel on Union Square in San Francisco. The setting was posh, the guests cordial, and the stage was set for a fantastic night!

Paul Blair, Hula Hoop Stuntman, took the first set of the night to the surprise of the audience. Paul recently returned from a commercial shoot for NIntendo Wii Fit, where he broke the Guinness World Record for the most revolutions of a hoop around the waist in a minute. He stunned the crowd with two person hooping, got cheers for hooping around his ankles in a handstand, and finished the set with 17 hoops at once! We’re glad to have Paul on our team!

Next up was Mike Templeton, with a fast paced juggling and Rola Bola act that emptied the neighboring ballroom. Clubs were flying from the start, as volunteers threw in three clubs to begin the act. A helpful executive officer joined him onstage mid-act, to help mount the Rola Bola of doom. Beofre the end, the whole room was clapping for Templeton as he perched atop the rola bola, juggling a machette, plunger and a bouquet of roses.

Also provided was one stiltdancer, who reminded guests to look up and enjoy the view of this magnificent deco ballroom spared by the 1906 earthquake and fire to remain one of the most beautiful buildings in San Francisco
